Have pulled a fiver all over Colorado. Has anyone pulled from I-70 to Grand Lake on highway 40 and 34? How good or bad is the road? Have a GMC Duramax and 34' fiver. Thinking about Winding River Resor...

I'd rather pull through Rocky over Trail Ridge any day than pull over Berthoud. Berthoud is straight up and down.
Better to go I70 through the tunnel to Silverthorn and up through Kremmling and back to Grand Lake, its an easy pull, but very long.
Stayed at Winding River and it was nice.
