OK, 5er's! Wasn't paying attention. Still... keep it greased with anything and keep applying regularly and you'll never have any problems (well, can't actually say "never", since "things" do sometimes happen. But you can eliminate a lot of failure due to negligence).

If you are looking for something you can apply once a lifetime and forget it, you'll never find a product like that. Just like every thing else with your RV (no matter what kind it is)... every detail needs constant attention. Even the grease joints, balls, bearings, and zerts! And you know, sometimes it's a good thing to wipe off all that old gunky grease and start over. The dirt collected in grease is abrasive too. Keeping all your "joints" lubed with clean grease will eliminate unwanted wear on those joints too much longer. So you know, if you apply often, clean off often, and reapply often, an expensive brand is probably just as good as a non-expensive brand. They all collect dirt and they all get black and they are all messy.
