I read too many times, people come back to a water mess because a fitting started to leak or something else bursts. That's not to say that he mess can't start while you are in your RV, but at least you might be able to keep it from being catastrophic.
LOTS of what if's in this world, I carry really good insurance. Too many sky is falling possibilities.
