They are stuck with the warranty if they miss something so they do a lengthy very thorough inspect prior to their quote and starting work. That's what they did with me. The whole first day of work was all prep work. My roof wasn't in terrible shape, but if it were ripped or bubbled they would have removed or repaired that first. Their whole system depends on the roof being properly prepared.
