Half-ton towable Toyhaulers

Anyone have any experiences with these toyhaulers? I have been looking at the STEALTH toyhaulers, specifically the SS2216 and SS1913 models. We have an 06 Nissan Armada, so I believe that I am within my limits of towing a half-ton capable trailer. we are equipped to tow 9100lbs with a max tongue weight of 910 lbs.

If there are any other models, or if you have any suggestions, please let me know. We are looking at a decent sized garage for two youth quads and two adult sport 450s.

Thanks in advance.
  • There is as much difference in one half ton truck to another as there is from the best half ton truck and the best 3/4 ton truck. The very TERM half ton towable does in NO way say that any PARTICULAR half ton truck can tow it. It merely means that SOME can tow it. With ANY trailer you plan on towing you should be looking at actual specifications as they compare to YOUR truck and forget about the "sales slogans". Their PURPOSE is to mislead the unwary buyer.

I find it INTERESTING that you've already been told that your truck can't tow ANY tow hauler. This it TOTALLY incorrect information.

    Good luck / Skip

Tongue weight on any toyhauler is going to be over what your tow vehicle is rated for.

My suggestion, move up to a 3/4 ton truck.

There are 1/2 ton towable ones out there, but yes, this good advice that next time I will follow. :)
  • Look at the VRV Quicksilver from Livin Lite and the VRV XTR from the guy who used to work for Livin Lite but started his own company. He is who I bought mine from and ATC builds them. Both are built to last and are made of aluminum so very light. Mine is too small for you, but weighs less than 5,000 lbs. fully loaded with a 983 lb Harley in the back.
