Hello--
Purchased a 1998 Jayco 243RKS and the handles are nowhere to be found.
I need one for the stabilizer jacks (it is the bolt head type, it is the round barrel with hole on side)
I also need one for the slide out and front electric jacks. These both appear to be the same type...the head of the shaft is D shaped.
I also need an awning rod.
Where can these be found? I have found the socket head type but the ones I need as described above?
Also, where do you order RV parts and supplies online? Things like plastic vent/water/exhaust vent fittings, Max Air rain/vent covers, replacement light lenses, etc.
Thanks
IIRC, my scissor jacks are 3/4" hex and I know more than a few people who simply use a standard (or deep) 3/4" socket on an extension chucked up into their cordless drill. On =my= FW, the front jacks use a manual crank handle with about a 1/2" diameter barrel-shaped "socket" on the end of it. That has a small pin across the center that engages into a slot on the motor shaft to turn it. I've contemplated buying another one, cutting it off for chucking up in my cordless, but I never have. My electric slide also uses a 3/4" hex on the motor for manual operation, but I don't think I've got enough room for a ratchet handle, so carry a combo wrench in my box, to be sure.
Check RV salvage yards, too.
