Hard to find Maxxis Tires
Why is it so hard to find Maxxis Tires. I have been asking my Discount Tire guy for Maxxis but he can't seem to get them. I cannot find any other Maxxis dealers near here. Love them but I can't wait f...

I too speak from first hand experience. Carlisle tires are as good as any others now. I've run Carlisle's for many years now with zero problems. Hmmmmm...
Glad to hear that because as of Feb of 2011 when I had my other Keystone Raptor 3612DS I had 3 axles/six tires and all were brand new Carlisle from Discount Tire. Second trip out on them I had two blowouts. Third trip out I had two more. Discount kept putting new ones on and I kept blowing them out. Finally after having enough I demanded a credit, which had to come through Carlisle, which was a nightmare to deal with by the way. I went with Maxxis and had no problems after that. My new camper came with Carlisle's too and I immediately had them changed to Maxxis. Bottom line is my experience was not good. For everyone on the road I truly hope they have made some changes.
