I just purchased 4 Hartland G-rated, 14-ply rated, 4080 lb. payload rated, ALL-STEEL versions of the ST235/85/16 from Discount Tire a month or so ago. They're N (87 mph) speed rated---higher than most G-rated ST's. I'm 90 percent sure these particular tires are made by Gladiator. Tread and sidewalls are almost identical. Just put 2500 miles on them. All is well so far.
Don't let the ST designator scare you. These tires weigh a hefty 60 lbs.---they weigh a lot more, and have a much higher payload rating, than any similar-sized, E-rated, LT or ST tire.
DT's asking price for the Hartlands were a bit high (approx. $180). They price matched several G-rated, all-steel 235/85/16's I found online. Got all 4 for ~$640 inc. tax, metal valve stems, mounted, and lifetime balancing.
