Has anyone ever had a front kitchen 5'er?

I was wondering why they do not make a front kitchen model and came across one by accident.

I mean the kitchen is where the bedroom typically is. It is definitely different!

Has anyone had one, and what has been your experience?

  • Considering the kitchen is used more during the day than either the bedroom or the bathroom, I would think going up and down those stairs would get old. IMO I would put it ahead of FL as not being as user friendly.
  • I saw one also, don't know the brand. We thought it looked great, but not practical fur us. I always think I can carry everything in one trip. I am clutsy enough taking food down the steps outside to the picnic table. Add carrying food etc. down from the front of the fiver...could be a real mess!!
  • I have seen them at the Tampa RV Supershow.....I am not sure I would like it.....

Saw one at the RV Show in Portland about a year ago, different not sure how practical.
  • First one I found was 2006 and really aged looking, but I just found this new one!! It is beautiful!!

I just wonder how functional it would be??

I soooo wish that we could have made it to the PA show!!! We had no idea just how many different styles there would be!!
  • I have never seen one, but I guess anything is possible.

I would wonder about the bouncing, and if the stove burners would jump around - with the front kitchen. Anyway probably no reason it can not happen.
