I haven't measured my tanks either, but I have paid attention enough to be convinced they are pretty close to the published capacity. If you boondock a lot as we do, tank capacity is an important factor when shopping for your rig, and if I discovered after buying something as expensive as a fiver that I had been cheated on tank capacity, I would be very pissed off. If I had reason to doubt the capacity was what I paid for, you can bet I would be out there measuring it with a bucket.
