I looked at my specs BEFORE I bought my TT and the fresh is 41 and each of the black and grey are 30. They aren't expected to add up...I happen to use city water connection all the time so doesn't matter but they are sized to what fits under your frame and weight balance and distribution.
The whole point is that the =spec= states one thing, but the OP's experience, including measuring the tanks, shows that they're significantly smaller.
