Had a cam sensor go bad and strand me on the side of I-40 outside of OKC 3 yrs ago. Tow company loaded my truck up on the bed of his tow truck and hooked my 5er to a dually with a 5th wheel hitch. DW rode with the tow truck operator as he took the truck to the local dealer. I rode with the other driver as he towed the 5er to the nearest KOA, waited while I leveled and connected electric, then took me to that dealer.
Of course this was late Thursday afternoon, service department was busy, and they would not be open on Saturday. And we supposed to have our granddaughters home on Monday. But service manager, upon hearing our plight, rushed the truck thru, had it ready the next afternoon. Warranty paid for repairs and rent car so we were not inconvenienced to much.
