All our toy haulers have had headboards in the nose. But we had a headboard in a slideout one time on a travel trailer. The only real dislike I had was the movement. Since you're "hanging out" some, every little movement from the camper (wind, people walking inside, etc.) was exaggerated worse than it was.
Not a deal breaker though if we found a camper we liked and that was the only flaw.
