I recently traded up for a Heartland BC but have not taken delivery yet, will in a few days.
My reason for answering OP is although I have no real history yet in a Heartland I had this mindset that I would only own a "premium brand coach". Which I considered to be Newmar, Carriage, Nuwa and a few others (most out of business now) and the custom built coaches.
I traded in a Carriage on my BC.
My point is I was looking at the market very narrowly but what I discovered is with all of the new technology of today there are some fine FW coaches on the market that I was overlooking because I thought my list of "premium coaches" was the Holy Scripture.
The Heartland BC is well built, Mfg. warrants for full time living, with many cutting edge technical features , it just blew me away.
I had admired Heartland coaches for many years but when Thor bought them, well that kind of rained on my regard for them. However, it is my recent understanding that Thor has left Heartland as a separate entity unto itself and it basically functions as it did from the beginning.
This is my sixth RV purchase over the last 25 years or so, two of them new the others were used units.
I have lots of experience RVing and I do my homework (a whole lot of my knowledge gained on these boards). I feel very comfortable with this latest purchase (it is a new unit). I will let you know in a few months how I feel about it then. Good luck and happy and safe camping!
