We have a 2012 Heartland Greystone 32RE.
The Sundance line will be taking over the Greystone floorplans for 2014.
The new Sundance models will be the Sundance Platinum series now.
Greystone and Sundance are virtually the same.
What did you want to know?
Quality? Cheap looking? Average? There is a model 3 hours from the house. Trying to get a feel if it is worth the time to go see.
Mmmm...
Good finish outside.
Some chincy stuff here and there (pretty typical for a mid-line trailer)
Fit and finish inside is superb in my opinion.
Some things as a guy I liked:
Spare tire mounted underneath
Hitch\pin bracket covered with a trim piece
Outdoor speakers
Power awning
Aluminum clad rear bumper
A few booboo items:
Roof ladder feels a little weak for my weight (235#) :(
Broken weather flap inside the stove vent (fixed by Heartland)
Wheel skirt on the roadside bent outward (I got underneath and bent it back)
One cupboard hinge inside had stripped screws (Cried and Heartland fixed it and one other cabinet they found)
50 amp plug cover won't snap shut (still broken)
Not much wrong really.
I think you'll enjoy the mid profile Heartland fifth wheels.
Not top drawer just a little below :)
No regrets here so far...
