When I was living in minus 34C in my TT I used a radiant heater underneath to thaw things. It worked well. You just have to make sure you keep it far enough away to avoid too much heat on the desired location.
I laid the heater on the ground pointing up on an angle.
Worked better than heat lamps because it had a wider dispersment than a bulb.
