Hehr windows

I need to replace a bottom crank out panel on one of my windows. Does anyone have experience with Hehr window repairs or know where I can download an appropriate manual. I down loaded the one on the Hehr website but there aren't any pictures with the instructions. I'm a picture guy.

  • We LOST (it fell out of the hole) the window out of our 5'er last spring. We ordered a replacement that we found at an RV used parts dealer on ebay. Just search under RV parts. It came with easy to use directions for replacement.

We have also purchased parts from Adventure RV
  • Last fall we needed some window parts for the Hehr windows on our 1991 Avion 5th wheel. I called Hehr and they knew exactly what I needed and I bought the parts over the phone and had them in a few days. Great people to deal with. Good luck.
  • I think you will get a shock when the price is quoted. I found a replacement window on Ebay, and it was fine. Still not cheap. You might try Colaw RV. Largest RV salvage in the world.
  • I just replaced a small vent Hehr window. I bought it from Hehr for $154 shipped. To replace it you will need to drill out the pop rivets that hold the operator in place. Than you can lift the sash and operator out. Hehr sends me new black pop rivets you will need to re-install the operator.

They didn't send any instructions, but someone on another forum helped me out.
