I had a Funfinder, same company. They never hooked up the drain to the shower. Although most of the trailer appeared to be made well, the rear axle was bent. I didn't know that until a year later when the tires wore out unevenly. It was a new trailer when I bought it, so the dealer prep should have caught it during their inspection. I'm guessing it was the transporter who ran over something before delivering it to the dealer.
I also had two minor leaks and an electrical problem with the slide.
The RV industry has a long way to go to catch up with the auto industry for quality control. Given robotics and the technical know how of the auto industry versus hiring anyone willing to work for little pay in the RV companies, it's no mystery why most RV factories can't get it right. Unless you can afford an Airstream, get a trailer with a decent warranty and buy from a local dealer.
