Help figuring out DOT tire code
I was looking at the spare tire for my enclosed trailer and can't figure out the date of manufacture. The side wall code says DOT 1PP CXKRCF. How do I figure out those letters for mfg date? If it hel...

Just a guess, but bet if the numbers that had to be changed all the time some tires would not match side to side. And it would be harder to keep the replaceable parts in mold.
When you get new tires mounted make sure the date is on the outside when mounted.
