We started out with a 25' TT because we were not sure if we would like RVing....after 2 years we decided we did, and it was time to move up. We bought a 34' 5th wheel and now (after 10 yrs) just traded it in for a 38' 5th wheel with more bells & Whistles - which required the dually we bought last year. We knew what model we wanted and knew our 2500 D/A would not be able to handle the weight.
You should find a parking lot to practice backing.
