Help with 12 volt wiring.
I have a 2013 forest river xlr 386x12 toyhauler and have a question about the wiring from the battery. I have 2 pos leads one going to the disconnect switch and one going to a post off the 12 volt bus...

You should have a hot wire coming off either the battery or the un-fused post that goes to the breakaway switch.
You could have a hot wire going to a circuit breaker and then to landing gear.
There should be a power wire coming from the TV that connects to the rig's battery.
The one front the converter is normally where the battery drain is.
Another problem that I have seen with 5ers, is the landing gear switches are exposed to water from the TV. Some people have moved their switches inside the front compartment to protect the switches.
