HELP!......with picking a toy hauler

As my family is getting bigger, I am in the market for a TH. I currently own a Sabre Silhouette with bunks & the kids are just getting too big to fit in the bunks comfortably. The only option that I see out there is going with a TH with the dual electric lift beds in the garage. I have 3 kids, so one with a loft would even be better so they each have their own beds.

I am going cross-eyed looking through TH online & was looking for a little help fromm everybody to narrow my search. Some of the necessary things I need the TH to be is....
- Under 40' (so it will fit in my barn when not in use)
- Got to have the the dual electric lift beds in the garage
- Loft would be NICE, but could get by without if needed

Any sugessions on brands & models would be greatly appreciated!!!
  • Since the toy hauler garage will be more of a bedroom than a garage, a 10 footer will do and help keep your total length down. We had a Road Warrior 30C that would nicely fit your needs. It has a twin sister by Cyclone, the 300C. Not only is it at or just under your 40' limit, but due to the stepped front end cap it is much easier to tow and maneuver than a standard 40' hauler. It has the happijack bunks in the back and a loft for the third bed too. Here is the floorplan:

Here is a link to the unit's page:

We loved ours and would still have it if we didn't outgrow the garage...

Here's a pic back when we first got it in 2012.

  • Carbon 327 has 3 slides, 38' in length, 12' garage with dual electric beds and a half loft with twin bed.
  • I'm about to purchase a Grand Design Momentum 350M so I've been searching in a similar way to you. There are many many options so you probably need to narrow down your search criteria a little more. For me, the 350M had the perfect floorplan for us, including a rear half-bath. The Fuzion 371 and Voltage 3605 are almost identical floorplans but I like Grand Design's approach to customer service after the sale. Also, I think their rigs are just nicer looking inside.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
  • XLR is the same way with amazing service after the sale but I don't believe any of their trailers would fit in the OP's under 40' requirement...
  • Thanks for the feedback & I wish I could afford new, but I probably looking at 2011-2014 models. Sorry, I should of mentioned in my original post.
  • No prob! Our suggestions apply to used as well....
