I believe you would and standard tolls too. States don't care what you have attached to the axles. They just care about how many total axles you have and charge accordingly.

The 8" lift might be an issue for most fifth wheels.

I quite frankly would prefer a 1-ton with super singles tucked under without the flares of a dually.

With just 6 lug wheels ...1/2 ton running gear the truck may not be able to carry as much weight as the newer gen one ton DRW trucks in the bed.
Good looking boulevard cruiser truck tho.

The last time I towed my travel trailer across a bridge and into a toll booth, the toll taker looked out his window to confirm I had 4 axles - two under the truck, and two under the trailer. I would love to see a dash cam video (pointed out the driver's window) of the toll taker seeing the pickup with the 3 axles. I bet we'd get a memorable 'look'.
