I read some of the posts and looked up HiJacker hitches and it seems to me to be more about meeting certain regulatory requirements for import. Importing products into any country is a tricky business and HiJacker may not have done their homework but I doubt there is any real issue with the hitch itself. They will still have to meet AU safety and certification mandates to satisfy any do-gooders (if that's possible).
