Cummins, not paranoid at all! Even though we all know that real thieves could defeat the locks in a few short minutes, it deters the amateurs and pranksters. I am sure you don't leave your truck sit over night, in high crime areas, as the entire truck would probably be gone in the morning.
I need to remember to lock my tailgate, as I've heard of those going missing.
