As far as bstealing the hitch, unless the thiefs are nlooking for my Super Glide, I doubt they will randomly pick it! (one of the big dis advantages of owning a Super Glide is "it is to heavy")! I do put a padlock on the handle, not only for idiots who would pull it while parked in a rest area, but it would never bump out as I drive down the road with a padlock!
