I really don't care if people lock or don't lock things but I have never had anyone pull my hitch handle or take part of my hitch. The Puck system I have now would be very easy to turn 4 levers and remove the entire hitch at $1,200.
Yep, that's what I meant about pranksters, just pulling the lever or pins. Yes, even a passer by thief, could steal the head off from any B&W quite easily. I think all Companion heads are interchangeable, as are the various Patriots, so thief just needs to purchase the base of choice. Many of the B&W bases are not very heavy either, if a thief has the time.
Learjet has his covered for the would be thieves, but yes, should have a padlock in the handle when hitched, for the not so funny pranksters.
