We've tried 3 of all the recommended locations and are now pleased with our final choice. I had a 2" receiver welded to the the rear connecting to the frame and use a Thule rack. I started with a roof mounted Yakima. That was fine but I got tired of getting the bikes up and down. Then Deb took 2 moving blankets and sewed the ends together and made giant envelopes that we put the bikes in and put them in the trailer. That lasted 1 summer. It was such a PIA getting around them to get in the trailer when we were on the road. Finally this solution. I just got a new trailer the other day and it was optioned with a receiver hitch on the rear so I'm all set.
