We just purchased a canyon trail which measures 39 ft. And we have a f250 with a 6 L engine. We have no problem maneuvering the fifth wheel in fact it is better backing than our 30 ft trailer. We got a manual slider when we back into a lot sometimes we need to turn tight. We also just got air bags for extra rear support so we don't have the bounce from going down on overloads on pickup.
