How do you value your RV?

Other than NADA, how do you place a value on an RV?
  • It's only worth what someone if willing to pay for it. If I can go down the road and get the same one cheaper than yours guess which one I'm going to buy.
  • I start with NADA, which is always way too high.

Then, I look at craigslist, and RV Trader to see what they are selling for in my state -- or tri-state area.

I try to find only private sellers -- but if you can only find RV dealers, I'd go at least 10% below them to start.

Be it car, truck, RV, I try to price on the low side to get it gone...If I've gone to the trouble to list it, I want it gone. You never make $$$ on stuff like that, you recoup.

    Good luck.
  • I would price it 10% lower than I paid and see what happens. Amount paid means no registration or sales tax or any extras.
  • It doesn't matter what I think the value is of my RV. The value is whatever someone will give me for it.
  • Get a appraisal. RV Pricing and Appraisal, he has a page on Facebook.
  • Fact of life - When you drove it off the dealers lot, you automatically lost 20%+.
  • The great used RV pandemic unloading sale has started? Winter isn’t the best time to sell in normal years. Fifty to sixty per cent below what you paid IMO.
