Nothing like stirring the pot; right bf? This thread has been dead for almost a week and you have to start it back up again; you getting bored or what? I've apologized a couple of times, restated the original issue a couple of times, and still I get posts like yours. First, I didn't ask for help, nor have I taken any stance. And having apologized at least twice and restated my original question, I've been more than civil. My original post asked for information on how your slide works and how much insulation you have in the belly of your RV. Too many take offense for reasons that I don't understand, and get defensive as if I'm insulting their RV. All I've done is stated the facts, as I know them. My RV will work the slide with batteries or without if plugged in to shore power. If yours doesn't, it's none of my business, but I learned something new. If there is a sub floor above the bottom, which mine does not have, it's none of my business, but again I learned something new. BUT, if my BIL's has a sub floor, there is a lot of carpet hanging down. I did not examine it closely, but seeing the carpet, thought that it was just like mine. And finally, bf, if I had wanted to be uncivil, I could have corrected your other post about the 'invertor'. A converter, converts AC to DC; an 'invertor' inverts DC to AC. Have a good day and let's let this die? How about it?
