Our 5er is rated for max weight of 13,800. Dry/empty weight (as weighed on a CAT scale) is 10,800. Last time I weighed fully loaded for a week, wife, 2 kids and myself, coach came in at 12,800. So I still have room for 1,000 extra pounds of "whatever". So it all depends on how much extra you pack. A can of beans is a can of beans and makes no diff as to where you place it in coach. Depending on your budget, I'd suggest looking at a coach w/ at least no less than 1.500 diff between dry and max. The larger the spread the better, but then you have to make sure you either have big enough truck or comfy being overweight to a degree.
