How important is it to access the bed with slides closed?

Will you ever be stopping for a snoose where slides might be too tight... like a rest area, Flying J, etc? If so, there's your answer.

Secondly, if you ever encounter weather fierce enough to want the slides in... ice storm, hail, hurricane maybe... that, too, would be a problem.

Personally, I wouldn't choose to not be able to use the primary function of an RV if something got in the way of putting out a slide.
