How important is it to access the bed with slides closed?

Don't understand the fixation on usability with slides in. Yes, access to the head is important for those midday stops. Access to the fridge is nice too but anything needed during the day trip can go in a small cooler.

For Wally camping the slides go out. All of them. Never had a complaint. No matter what you are taking up a line of parking bays. Slides out do not equal the depth of a bay.

JMO, but buying based on slide in useability does not make sense.
