I am looking at a unit with access to fridge and bath when slides are closed, but no access to BR. I was wondering how important/unimportant this might be?Thanks for your help in advance!

We all deal with this from time to time. Mine's just the opposite configuration. Something has to give!

None-issue. If you HAVE to get into the bed area move the slide out.

Will you ever be stopping for a snoose where slides might be too tight... like a rest area, Flying J, etc? If so, there's your answer.Secondly, if you ever encounter weather fierce enough to want the slides in... ice storm, hail, hurricane maybe... that, too, would be a problem.Personally, I wouldn't choose to not be able to use the primary function of an RV if something got in the way of putting out a slide.

We've never been in a situation where we couldn't get the slides out. We can reach into the frig to get stuff out and lie down on the bed if we had to but never have had to. We put the slides out in rest areas, Walmarts, wherever. With two adults and two dogs it can get pretty cozy. Just make sure you are reasonably level before putting out the slides.

How important is it to access the bed with slides closed? Everyone has their own priorities. :@For us, it is very important, as is having access to the bathroom with the slides in. That was part of the decision process for deciding upon the right TT to suit us. ;)

Our first access priority would be the Bed/Bathroom area. I can't count how many times we've hit a exit ramp, empty lot or any other place off the highway, for a potty break. We have to open the slide to get to the frig but can always plan ahead for lunch breaks & to restock.

Ditto on the Montana 2955RL, we have a 2005. Only the LR TV is out. Love it, which is why we have it.

We had a 2010 Montana 2955RL, two slides, but you could use everything except the LR TV with the slides in.

Everyone to their own, but we have access to all 3 = kitchen fully, bedroom, about 6inches of bed slots under a wardrobe, and bathroom fully. I wouldn't want it any other way, as we like to boondock and dry camp a lot and again if winds are high keep our slides in.

FWIW: Even if you don't think you need to now, do think how you might wish to travel in the future before buying something you regret losing a lot of money on needing to trade up at a later date.

I have access to everything when our slide is in. We have a short 5th wheel with only one slide. It's an RL. Spoiled I guess.
If I had to give up one access point it would be the bedroom. I don't think there's really anything in there that I couldn't do without until I was at my camping spot.

A key requirement for us was to have access to refrigerator, bed, and toilet with the slides in.

We travel from one coast to the other to see kids (each in the military and never seem to be on the same coast) So we want to stop get a bite and a nap/over night and back on the road.
