Check with your local dealer and find out if it will be a problem. That's the only way to figure the "local factor" into the equation. If he says, "No Problem", you're good. If he says "No Way", then you have to find someplace that will work on it and you figure that into your decision whether to buy local or not.
Someone mentioned an mobile RV tech. If you're planning on going that route be sure you check them out closely ahead of time. We used one for a small job while the toyhauler was at our house, and it was a bit of a mess. The guy looked like he just got swept out of the local saloon along with the sawdust. The work got done, but it cost more than it should have, and took longer. So make sure you check 'em out closely.
I checked with the closest dealer to find out if it would be a problem, and he said "Service work is service work". He has done a warranty fix for us with no wait to speak of.
