How important is it to buy local?

I have always said, "There are no 'rights' or 'wrongs' when it comes to camping!" The same is true when it comes to purchasing one either.
Bottom line ... we each do what is most comfortable, most convenient, and most affordable. No one is walking in your shoes but YOU. YOU do what suits YOUR needs, pocketbook, and convenience and YOU won't go wrong. Follow your heart and you'll know what is best!
For anyone that says purchasing "local" is the way to go, ask them if they've ever ordered anything through the Internet????
(Personally, we patronize 2 different RV dealerships. One is only 5 miles from our home, the other is about 20 miles. The one located 20 miles away is where we purchased our last camper. Fortunately, in Central Indiana, there are numerous RV dealerships and each one has their own servicing centers. So competition is GREAT. Anyone one of them will service anyone else' RV. But maybe not every part of the country is like that.)
Bottom line... if looking for an RV and looking for servicing an RV ... go where it's best for YOU.
