How important is it to buy local?

Hope your reading between the lines. It simply depends on the dealer.
I've bought three truck campers up to 11.5'....one TT and three 5th wheel trailers from local dealers since the early '60s.
I've found the larger dealers may have up to a 90 day weighting period during camping season. I can go right now and get the next customer bay available where some one who didn't buy from them will simply wait. Smaller dealers may not even work on what they don't sell.
Dealers may also have a bay just for AOG type work for those travelers that are on the road and don't live in the area.
Only your area dealers can tell you what they will do
