This buy local stuff is infuriating and is based on the Rv sales model. The manufacturer pays the dealer low warranty service labour rates under the theory that they make thier profit on the sale. This is where the right of refusal of warranty work for rigs not purchased at that dealer comes from. Personally I have had horrible local dealer warranty service on several rigs so now buy where I want and pay for service where I choose. Most simple things and maintenance I do myself. For more specialized work I won't trust a dealer.
