OK, I agree that sounds cheap, but it is not the cheapest in that particular product/category.. Apples to Oranges.
According to comparable model other MFG MSRP's (I just googled comparable "ford to civic" and the answer was Focus but I dunno?)
Chevy Cruze = 16,995.00
Ford Focus?? 18,100.00
Hyundai Elantra = 17,827.00
To my point the more reliable Honda is also more money. Now to your point if I compare your Civic price to the price of my fully loaded Nissan Altima then yes the Civic is "CHEAP".
So to be fair, 'saying' something is cheap and comparing it to other options of the same category is two different things. The issue being we will probably never agree on a fair comparison.
Now, back to the original topic (sorry for the hijack).
