I suspect they are like a car. Last as long as you are willing to repair, update, etc. The question is, at what point does it become so expensive to repair that it is overall too old to be worth it. For example would you keep an old car if it needed a transmission and complete engine at the same time. We looked at some really old 5th wheels once and it was surprising how old they looked; dark inside, dark finish, etc.
