I honestly don't think I will ever buy a new RV again. I have done it twice; the last one was a 2005 Citation 28.5 RKS which was a beautiful and great trailer, but the depreciation in 10 years was ridiculous. Like you, I bought my current rig used for about 1/3 of what the original MSRP was and it's nice knowing I could sell it for very close to what I bought it for 3 years ago. My next rig will be another high end unit, but 1-2 years old and lightly used, likely close to our retirement. Likely a Mobile Suites or something similar. And retirement is quite a long way down the road yet so unless something drastic happens we will be keeping our current rig for quite a long time.
