How many fire extinguishers on-board?
Just got an additional auto\marine extinguisher for our fiver. I was wondering how many folks have multiple extinguishers inside? Do you guyz keep an extinguisher handy for an outside emergency? ...

I'm in the school of evacuate.
Having worked at Brooke Army Medical Center burn unit ...I've
seen the end result of untrained fire-fighters.
I've seen how quickly these fuel sources burn, and/or explode.
I've seen the rapid rate of spread.
Human nature (mine at least) is to not do the necessary checks,
replacement, practice, and keeping the extinguisher uncovered/
reachable/exposed/charged. I'll never remember at 0200 hrs in
the morning which is the correct use on electrical/grease/etc.
I've never practiced shoving my bride out the evacuation window.
In my end analysis... it is only stuff. Carry the amount of insurance
you deem appropriate. Pray you're never in one of these fire pits
when ignition occurs. Minimize or remove as many fuel sources as
possible. Park the tow vehicle in an easily egressable location.

I used to get a kick out of hospital acronyms...
"R.A.C.E."..react,alarm,contain,evacuate.... I say time better
spent learning the Fireman's Carry.
