How many times can you torque bolts on a hitch?

I have a new Curt A 16 hitch that I have had to try and then adjust the height a few times to level out the trailer. Anyone know how many times you can torque the bolts that go into the hitch? They ar...

So far, I am the only one who torqued them since new. I had to pull out the slider part of the hitch and go with the fixed hitch since the slider added about 3 inches to the height of my trailer. Purchased new side mounting brackets and now I am about 2" nose high. They recommend to check torque every 500 miles.
