How much can the landing gears lift?

Hi,

I am temporarily parked on my inclined drive way to ready the FW for the weekend. The fridge will not start because the front end of the FW is not level with the rear. Can the landing gears lift the weight of my F350 still attached to the FW in order for me to bring the front end of the FW level?
  • DON'T DO IT! The design intent of your landing gear did not include lifting your truck. Just unhook it. It's not that hard.

  • Maybe you can drive your rear axle onto some blocks (ramps) will help.
Not sure how much of a incline your talking about.
  • I definitely would not lift the truck with the landing gear. I doubt it would have the power to do it anyway.

And I'll bet that is not the reason your fridge isn't firing off.
  • I would not do it more than a couple of inches above the loaded level. The frame of the 5th is probably not designed for that kind of load.

  • I would not! The landing gear has decent capacity, but not that much. Why not unhitch from the truck.
