Here's a thought for you as to having enough storage and closets in the 5th wheel for your time when fixing your house. Purchase an smaller single axle enclosed trailer (10 or 12' box size) at least 6' high inside or tall enough so you don't have to stoop over. They are real cheap even new and have so many uses. $2500 to $3000 around here new gets a very decent one. Usually much cheaper than that used according to condition etc. You are not going to live in it and later it makes for a great utility trailer that's enclosed. So many uses!
[COLOR=]Sounds great for extra storage! However, I thought that there are some states that do not allow for such a towing setup.
For stationary use...that is a consideration.
You will want a Max Air type cover over a screened roof vent for rain protection and keeping the vent open and
a screened opening thru or near the floor so mold won't form or grow in hot wet climates.
[COLOR=]I don't understand that last sentence. Please explain.
I highly suggest a bright white total exterior color including the vent cover so it doesn't get hot inside in the sun. So cheap and quick to add the vents if not already there and works super! Nature and breezes/wind are naturally on your side!
A bright white exterior for the 5er? Those are few and hard to find in the newer models these days...
