After you get some idea of about what something might be worth, then look at the condition and how well maintained it has been. That can factor in a little more or less value. If possible stay away from those that have been neglected, have any kind of water damage anywhere, or do not show pride of ownership. You probably will spend money on anything you purchase for tires, wheel bearings repack, possibly a new awning, batteries, so set aside some more money for after the purchase needs.
Does a 2002 Montana with decals peeling off indicate neglect, or is that just the nature of the beast?
