Not sure what you are defining as "small", but I have a 41' 5th wheel, so I guess mine would be "big"?
I put my sandrail in it all the time, 2720lbs.
The heaviest part of my rail is behind the rear axle of the toyhauler.
Toyhaulers are designed to carry weight, so not sure why you think putting a lot of weight towards the back is bad?
