- Don___CarolynExplorerWhat about the extra weight? Would it be better to drain it before moving to another RV park? Or is there a reason for not draining it that often?

I drain mine after every trip. Its easy to get to and no reason not to.
Do you drain yours after a vacation of 2 weeks at home???????
I am not sure what you are asking. I drain my fresh water tank and the water heater after every camping trip. I have easy access to both. I think it reduces any corrosion or organic build up in the tanks. Never had a problem so I'll keep doing it. Just habit I suppose. - micahmilesExplorerMine drains every time my wife takes a shower!
- SteeljagExplorerNever, nada, zippo!
- crcrExplorerOnce a year, end of season works for me.
- LantleyNomadAt the end of season only. Why make extra work for yourself? If water is chlorinated it is not a problem. If it is untreated well water maybe there is an advantage to dumping it? However for the most part there is no benefit to dumping it.
- michael8rcExplorerAt the end of the season when the unit is winterized.
- hotpepperkidExplorerWell there is no winterizing and no end of season here, so never
- fla-gypsyExplorerOnce a year in winter
