Over the past fifty years I've had around twenty-five or more RV's. Everything from pickup camper's to TT and FW's. I've had good and bad and some that were just plain nightmares. The one I had before I bought this one was a new 2004 Cedar Creek four slides and forty feet with all the bells and whistles. It was nice when set up as far as room etc. But I did have a few issues with it.
This time I bought a used 2007 Copper Canyon 37' long. We like the floor plan, but the seller lied big time to us about different things. Cost me an extra seven grand just to make the repairs and buy new XP Rib tires for it. There was also some hidden damage on the rear that may yet cost me another four grand. Yes, I got took to the cleaners on Craig's List and I want to shoot myself for it.
Thus far, besides the new tires, I've added slide out toppers, bought a new portable Direct TV Dish that I really like so far and just bought a new Honda 3000IS to replace my old Honda. I also changed out the roof top TV ant to a HD ant.
I may add shocks to it this Fall or next Spring, still debating that. At my age, this will be my last one, plan to keep it about five or so years then, if I still have the urge to travel, I'll get a class C motor home. My wife is 44 years younger than me and she now likes to RV, so now she can be my driver.....lol. Let her pull the rig for a couple of hours awhile back and she did real good. Yep, keeping em both.
